Abstract：Based on a review of papers published in New Architecture in recent years by teachers of School of Architecture and Urban Planning, Chongqing University, this paper discusses“evolving architecture”from the perspectives of scientific research, practice and teaching. In the field of scientific research, host academic columns with a keen eye for hot topics and explore complex topics from a multi-disciplinary perspective. In the field of practice, explore the practice of urban and rural space construction in the context of innovation in architectural design and social transformation based on special structural technologies. For education and teaching, while tracing the development of Chongqing University architectural education, explore new concepts and methods of architectural education based on the present and looking into the future.
