Humanistic Settlement and Quality Residential Architecture: Summary of the 26th Annual Academic Conference of Chinese Residential Architecture and International Academic Symposium on Residential Architecture
Abstract：The 26th Annual Academic Conference of Chinese Residential Architecture and International Academic Symposium on Residential Architecture was successfully held in Hebei University of Engineering. International and domestic expects discussed academic issues around the following four aspects: words and objects of residential architecture, construction of residential architecture’s quality, human settlements and health and activation and renewal of traditional settlements in ethnic minority areas. The conference indicated a trend of the residential architecture research in China from isolated static to dynamic pluralism, which should be expanded to interdisciplinary integration and digital technology convergence. The conference also expected a new chapter of the research of residential architecture in China.
