Abstract：By utilizing the analogy analysis method of ancient and modern correlation between archaeological sites and ethnographic materials in the field of anthropology, this study introduces the theory of ethnoarchaeology into the study of the evolution of traditional residential forms. It interprets core issues including the selection principles of residential samples, the correlation analogy procedures between residential samples and archaeological sites, and the interpretation methods of analogy results, and constructs a research approach of ethnoarchaeology that aligns with the perspective of architectural discipline.
