The Inheritance and Practice of Chinese Traditional Vernacular Dwelling Study: A Summary of the 22nd Annual Academic Conference of Chinese Traditional Vernacular Dwelling
Abstract：The 22nd Annual Academic Conference of Chinese Traditional Vernacular Dwelling was held at Harbin Institute of Technology from July 28 to 31, 2017. In the conference, researchers focused on the theme of the “Inheritance and Practice of Traditional Vernacular Dwelling”. The experts at the meeting fully reported the latest research findings, such as those on the assembly evolution of traditional dwelling houses, analysis and application of traditional dwellings construction technology, and the investigation and activation of traditional villages. The experts put forward new problems, methods, perspectives and horizons, and show the latest academic achievements and research trends of the study of vernacular dwellings in the new period.
