Abstract：In the context of urban stock space transformation, small-scale and refined micro-renewal mode has become an important means of urban renewal. Focusing on the development process of urban micro-renewal in China in the past ten years, based on the relevant documents retrieved by HowNet, and using the CiteSpace for visual expression, this paper analyzes the research overview of micro-renewal according to the research subject, key words, and time information. Starting from public space, old communities, public participation, Shanghai and other hot topics, it delineates the development process of urban micro-renewal in combination with policy background, practical activities and theoretical research, summarizes the inadequacies of micro-renewal activities in public participation, institutional system, education and cultural characteristics, explores the future development trend, and provides reference for the sustainable development of urban micro-renewal in China.
