Abstract:Behavior simulation technology can effectively predict the users’ behavior in space, provide an objective basis for the evaluation and optimization of buildings and urban spaces, and contribute to the humanized and refined design of space. Aiming at the application and research of behavioral simulation technology in architecture and urban and rural planning, this research analyzes progress from three dimensions: model establishment and improvement, application and expansion, evaluation and measurement indicators, and proposes a comprehensive analysis framework for the current research. In addition, this research proposes three topics worthy of continued exploration: concern for individual behavior, concern for environmental complexity, and integration with other technical means. It is expected to provide reference and theoretical basis for the development and research of behavior simulation technology in the disciplines of architecture and urban and rural planning.
