Abstract:The rapid development of high-density cities contributes to a complex pedestrian network, attracting increasing attention to accurate urban design analysis that can effectively cope with complex conditions. The integration of spatial design network analysis (sDNA) and geographic information system (GIS) is bringing the possibility of quantitative analysis and design optimization to the three-dimensional pedestrian network. This research combines the actual needs of the pedestrian network of Yuzhu and Yufengwei Station to explore design-oriented analysis methods. It attempts to explore an operation paradigm of 3D pedestrian network evaluation, functional layout adjustment and vertical transportation optimization with the support of sDNA technique. Results of quantitative data analysis are used to provide scientific advice for the development of pedestrian network, organization of peripheral functions and vertical connector design. This research is an attempt of digital urban design, which can effectively contribute to the fine-scale humanoriented urban design, promoting more scientific regeneration decisions and more precise space creation.
