Abstract:As a part of the urban public space, the commercial complex assumes the functions of economic activities and leisure communication. Commercial complexes in the post-epidemic era are facing huge challenges in balancing safety and profitability. Through comparison of the pedestrian data of one weekend before and after the COVID-19 control in Taikoo Li, Sanlitun, Beijing, and with Space Syntax Isovist model and spatial design network analysis (sDNA) model, this paper analyzes the change in pedestrian before and after the COVID-19 control, as well as the relationship between the pedestrian distribution and the factors of spatial structure, distance between traffic nodes, and width of walking space. It finds that the sDNA model is better on the overall scale, and the Space Syntax Isovist model is better on the local scale; the correlation between the distance of traffic nodes and the width of walking space and the distribution of pedestrians is relatively weak and unstable. Affected by the control of the epidemic, compared with urban roads, the number of pedestrians inside the complex is significantly reduced, and the changes in spaces with different structures are also different.
