Abstract：This paper makes a preliminary investigation on the detailed design of high density residential areas based on the practice of Vanke Beijing Hills. It discusses the detailed design about overall planning, circulation, apartment layout, garage and façade. In the current condition of emphasizing the maximization of plot ratio, the paper hopes to provide useful solutions and ideas for rational utilization of resources, reduction of production cost, and improvement of the quality of high density residential areas.
