Abstract：The advent of the digital age has caused great changes in information technology and social environment, and also promoted the transformation and development of libraries to meet the needs of the times and society. Through the analysis of the IFLA “Public Library of the Year” award winning projects, this article explains the changing trends and characteristics of library buildings in the digital age in three aspects: design concept, design strategy and design process. It aims to provide useful references for the transformation design of public library buildings in the digital age, and to reshape the attraction and influence of public libraries in the new era.
