Abstract：The holiday houses designed by Alberto Ponis embodies contemporary spirits and clear concepts beneath the outward appearance of vernacular houses. Drawing upon the speech and discussion on the opening day of the exhibition “The Cork Oak in Sardinia: Architecture World of Alberto Ponis” (Yulin Song Project Space, Chengdu), this article outlines the design threads and distinctive features of the Italian architect Alberto Ponis, and delves further into his design intentions through conversations.
