Investigation and Research on Building Characteristics of Full-time Elderly Care Facilities in Communities: A Case Study of Elderly Care Centers in Beijing
Abstract：Since 2014, Beijing has promoted the construction of full-time elderly care facilities, i.e. elderly care centers. Based on the data collection of elderly care centers in Beijing in 2020 and a large amount of visiting research materials, this paper analyzes the data of 195 elderly care centers, including single data analysis and multiple data comprehensive analysis, which are supported by case studies. This paper summarizes the building characteristics of elderly care centers in Beijing from the overall development status, building scale, and functional configuration, in order to provide reference for the development in the future.
