Abstract：The old city represented by the core area of Beijing is facing serious problems of aging, and the community pension service facilities in the core area have problems in positioning, service targets, service contents and management. Most facilities are not in good condition to meet requirements. Through some basic research on the community pension service facilities and community groups in the core area, and with the current government policies and community development plans, this paper describes the current situation of the facilities and existing problems, the future development characteristics of the facilities, and summarizes two ways of transformation and expectations of the facilities after transformation，in order to achieve the goal of transforming the core community’s aged care facilities and improve the use and operation of the facilities.
