Abstract:Architectural ventilation strategies are a critical component of sustainable design, closely intertwined with building energy consumption and occupant comfort. This study, using the sustainable design practices at the Yixing Concept Water Plant as a case study, examines a series of holistic design strategies for multiple buildings within the facility. Customized experimental measurements, supplemented by digital analysis, are employed to address various real-world spatial scenarios. The research preliminarily verifies the differential performance effects of distinct ventilation design strategies under local climatic conditions. Holistic design strategies, grounded in a systemic approach, facilitate the achievement of multi-objective requirements for diverse building spaces and functions. This work lays a foundation for subsequent in-depth and long-term investigations.
