Abstract：The quality of the building’s exterior space is of great significance for comprehensively improving the quality of the project and improving the urban public space system. In the process of using building’s exterior, the interior cluster users bear the responsibility of maintaining the quality of exterior space, while the citizens bring about more vigor and vitality. Therefore, the evaluation of the external space of the building should take into consideration of the needs of multiple subjects. This research put forward a post-occupancy evaluation system for building exterior space combine the basic evaluation principle with enhanced evaluation principle to meet both needs of interior cluster users and citizens. Finally, with four post-occupancy evaluation cases in different types of building’s exterior space, the post-occupancy evaluation method system proposed in this study is verified.
