Abstract:The lightweight steel structure system has the characteristics of thinness, light weight and convenient transportation and construction, especially in the design of low-rise buildings. However, this system is seldom applied in China, because the thin-walled cold-formed steel-ribbed system is of mature industrialization, high level of professional construction normally implemented by professional manufacturers. In view of this, in the design of campus bus shelter in Chengdu Normal University, a small short-term-use architecture, the architects studied the lightweight structure, low-tech construction, sustainable design, and professional and technical division in order to benefit the general application of lightweight structure.
