Abstract：The Tsinghua Vernacular Architectural Research Team exhibited five survey cases at the vernacular dwelling exhibition in Lizhuang, Yibin, Sichuan: Zhugecun Village, Nianbadu Town, Hani Rice Terraces Settlements, Songyang County in Zhejiang, and Lizhuang. These cases largely represent the three working stages of research and practice of vernacular architecture in Tsinghua University, namely the holistic stage, the characteristic stage, and the revitalization stage. This paper analyzes each stage and the causes of stage transitions.
