A Frog in a Well Can Talk About the Sea, An Insect in Summer Can Speak of Ice: Reflections on the Research Process of Huizhou Traditional Vernacular Dwelling and Village at Southeast University
Abstract：Southeast University has been conducting research on Huizhou vernacular dwellings and villages for over 70 years. Among this, there were groundbreaking contributions made by our academic pioneers, as well as the successive relays, especially the joint participation of multi-specialty teachers and students based on reading, writing and drawing. This is the reason why the research on Huizhou vernacular dwelling could present a spectacular trend and a prosperous scene. On the occasion of the Chinese Folk House Exhibition arriving in Lizhuang, Yibin, Sichuan, it is truly a record of the work, thoughts, and achievements of each stage with words, photos and drawings.
