Abstract：Rural architectural heritage serves as a space for inheriting historical culture and as a spiritual place to showcase the vitality and quality of the countryside. With the improvement of living standards in Guangdong province, villagers have an increasingly strong desire for heritage spaces that meet modern living. This article observed the current status and institutional establishment of rural architectural heritage in Guangdong, and outlined the main methods and paths for conserving and revitalizing such heritage. Furthermore, it summarized the characteristics and experiences of the strategies and effectiveness of typical cases in recent years, with the hope of providing practical inspiration for the conservation and revitalization of rural architectural heritage, and inspiring thinking about heritage-related work under the background of rural revitalization.
