Abstract:Assembled buildings have great potential for development in the construction of houses in towns and villages in China, and the pursuit of reducing energy consumption and improving living comfort puts forward higher requirements for energy-saving design. Based on the database of assembled house cases in Mannheim, Germany, this article summarizes the technical characteristics of small assembled energy-saving houses and analyzes the house types and diversified and customized design strategies. The architectural creation logic of Mannheim's assembled energy-efficient small houses combines suitability, industrialisation and high energy efficiency. It could provide inspiration and reference for the design practice of small assembled energy-saving houses in China.
