Abstract：By proposing that architectural design should return to the essence of space, this paper refocuses the design emphasis on the perception of space. It examines the role of dynamic perception-defined as the real perception state of users-in guiding the generation of architectural space design. The study begins by exploring the historical roots of dynamic sensing within past civilizations, identifying potential precursors to contemporary understanding. It then integrates the logic of dynamic perception within current development of digital perception enhancement technology. It finally focuses on the understanding of spatial perception and dynamic spatial perception in the field of architecture. It identifies several key characteristics of spatial dynamic perception, including holistic continuity, stereoscopic routing and holistic narrative. Based on the above three characteristics and combined with the concrete cases in the author’s design practice, the paper elucidates the guiding application of dynamic perception to spatial design in creative practice.
