Abstract：From the early 20th century to the founding of the People’s Republic of China, Xi’an University underwent a gradual transformation from a“traditional academy”to a“modern university”. The Xi’an modern university campus heritage is an important component of Xi’an’s urban cultural heritage. This study, based on empirical research and employing Grounded Theory, breaks through the conventional construction mode of Authorizing Heritage Discourse (AHD), It excavates the comprehensive value of the Xi’an modern university campus heritage from bottom to top. Additionally, it constructs a value evaluation system and weight distribution framework through the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), which is subjectively empowered. The purpose is to establish evaluation criteria and a framework for the Xi’an modern university campus heritage, thereby laying the foundation for its subsequent protection and utilization.
