Abstract：There are still a large number of traditional wooden buildings along the Silk Road in Gansu, with obvious blends and differences in their shapes, especially in the corner structure. Starting from the types of corner structures, and through the method of architectural chronology, this paper sorts out the shape characteristics and evolution mechanism of typical traditional building corner structures in important towns along the Silk Road, improves the understanding of the local building construction system, and provides reference for its future protection and development.
