Abstract:In recent years, many new phenomena that differ from the conventional track and field have emerged in the design practices of primary and secondary schools in our country. The diversity and complexity of these phenomena are far beyond the scope that can be discussed in the context of“conventional track and field”. This paper intends to focus on the core element of track and field-circular track, using“circular track +”to refer to unconventional situations of circular track and its adjacent elements. First, it constructs the conceptual framework of“circular track +”; Then, according to this framework, it comprehensively analyzes 156 cases from 100 primary and secondary schools, and summarizes the spatial organization modes based on“circular track +”from micro, meso and macro levels. Then it reveals the multiple values of the above spatial organization modes: the comprehensive value of educating people under the background of educational transformation in the new era, and the advantages of environmental protection and land saving under complex land use conditions. At the same time, it prudently points out the multiple challenges faced by the“circular track +”space organization modes, and tries to put forward corresponding countermeasures.
