Study on Wind Environment of Streets and Lanes in Traditional Villages in Hot Summer and Cold Winter Areas: The Case of Shangfeng Village, Daye, Hubei Province
Abstract:The computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation of the wind environment in the streets and lanes of Shangfeng Village of Daye in Hubei Province was performed on the two scales of settlement and single building. On the settlement scale, CFD is used to simulate the wind environment of villages with different winds in winter and summer. Through comparison, the relationship between the layout of village streets and alleys and the wind environment is qualitatively summarized. On the scale of a single building, with the two existing cold lanes of two traditional buildings as prototypes, two parameters related to the geometry of the lanes were selected as the control variables, and the wind environment simulation analysis was established by establishing 4 groups of 20 single building analysis models to quantitatively summarize the influence of the geometric characteristics of the lanes on the building wind environment.
