According to the urgent need of the digital information technology in the sphere of current urban heritage, and the characteristics of Macao heritage resources,
this paper explores the protection mode of Macao digital heritage from three aspects: the  establishment of resource database, the construction of the digital protection strategy, and  the standard of management and protection patterns. It is done on the basis of on-the-spot  investigation and original materials both in Chinese and foreign languages, the particularity of  heritage resources in Macao, and the digital information and processing technology. It aims to enable Macao to maintain its unique charms of cultural advantages and characteristics and to  generate new vitality in the rapidly changing society.
