Abstract:With the concern about “thermodynamics architecture”, this paper interprets innovative energy system of see-through thin-film photovoltaic facade. The inherent property of the material completely changes the original role of the building skin energy system, and could to the greatest extent turn passive energy consumption into active energy gain and control energy utilization. Through systematic analysis on aesthetic elements of the see-through thin-film
photovoltaic skin, such as material texture, color, and form, and case studies, the paper intends to provide references for innovative design of see-through thin-film photovoltaic facade.
