Abstract：Plenty of studies show that natural-light is beneficial to adolescents’ health and vision. For decades, American Boora Architects focuses on day lighting design of school buildings, especially architectural integration for day lighting. This paper introduces their investigations of day lighting school buildings, including such single-story buildings, that for multistory buildings, photoelectric technology and the application of light pipes. It is intended to provide
references for day lighting design of primary and secondary sch ool buildings in China.
