Abstract：This paper studies the climate responsiveness of traditional courtyard dwelling space in 3 climate zones. Through analysis of the spatial organization, spatial form and spatial interface, it discusses the construction mode and cultural logic which emphasize the physical space strategies and users’ behaviors in order to understanding the design concept of the reciprocal interaction between building and nature.
