Abstract:As a space for real enlightenment of architectural education, the department buildings of architecture are becoming more diverse in the context of the development of contemporary disciplines. This article traces some spatiotemporal clues, describes the evolutionary outline of the architectural education buildings, interprets the main spatial concept in each period, and brings a rethinking of its contemporariness. The research takes physical experience and perception as interactive media in between space and events in order to construct the correlation analysis method of “space-body-event”. Through a detailed analysis of BK City in TU Delft, the significance of space, disciplinary meaning and future possibility of the architectural education buildings are explored from three main dimensions: spatial existence, physical perception, and event phenomena.
