Abstract：Xu House is the first experimental project of self-renewal of private houses in the conservation and regeneration of Xiaoxihu block in Nanjing. The investigation and respect of property rights relations is the basis for the project initiation, and the establishment of relevant policies is the guarantee of its implementation. Based on these two interactive clues of property rights and policies, this paper explores the practice-oriented participatory self-renewal mechanism, and promotes the self-renewal process of multiple participants.
