Abstract：Through the case of South Lake Branch Library of Wuhan University of Technology, this paper makes an account of how to align the form, color, layout and artistic conception of architectural space with traditional culture and modern green building and ecological technology on aspects of the regional culture and climate. It tries to establish a balance and interaction between space, culture and environment, and the regional and sustainable characteristics of the architectural space.
