Research on Evaluation and Design Strategy of Acoustic Environment in Waiting Halls of Large High-speed Railway Station: The Three High-speed Railway Stations in Tianjin
Abstract:High-speed railway station is a type of large building with high crowd density, and its acoustic environment quality is an important part of the overall environmental quality of the building. This paper explores the perception of the acoustic environment in waiting halls of large high-speed railway stations through grounded theory, questionnaire and structural equation for obtaining the evaluation dimensions and their weights. Results show that the users perceive the
acoustic environment through loudness, speech intelligibility, spatial impression, concordance and influence. Loudness is the biggest factor that affects the users’ emotion, recognition and behavior, and the concordance has the greatest effect on the comprehensive evaluation. Based on the weight, design strategies are proposed to provide research basis for improving the indoor environmental quality of high-speed railway stations.
