Integrated care has recently been a hot issue. This paper aims to summarize the main purpose of integrated care, and analyze spatial characteristics of  integrated care facilities for the elderly, and then discuss its design concept, spatial composition and design method with a case study on Yitong National Hospital Affiliated Nursing Home. This study clarifies design guidelines to provide more suitable care and built environments for both the elderly and staff.
