Abstract:The skylight is an important design factor affecting the indoor natural ventilation of the enclosed mosque hall in Xinjiang. Based on research of the spatial parameters of Xinjiang enclosed mosque hall and its skylight, according to the fundamental principles of natural ventilation, this paper establishes analytical models of the typical Xinjiang enclosed mosque hall by means of numerical simulation. Taking the average wind speed, Predicted Mean Vote (PMV) and Age of Air as the evaluation index, it analyzes the influence laws of four factors on the natural ventilation in the hall of the skylight, which is opening and closing state, height, position and quantity. It proposes design and management recommendations for skylight of Xinjiang enclosed mosque hall, and provides a reference for the natural ventilation design of the large space in this area.
