Abstract：Based on the essential connotation and nurturing characteristics of the college system, and with the current survey and literature study on the functional configuration of typical college system dormitories at home and abroad, this paper reveals the current development trend of functional composite design of college student dormitories under the college system, analyzes the functional composition element system of modern college student dormitories, summarizes the existing and future functional compound types, and puts forward design strategies from the selection of functional types, optimization of functional elements, configuration of functional indicators and selection of composite methods. The aim is to construct a set of systematic and logical design methods for functional composition, provide references for relevant design practices, and promote the implementation of the function of university student dormitories.
