Abstract：A town will get lost in the pursuit of development without proper guidance. The reconstruction of Dukezong ancient town needs a correct guidance more than others. It should be resolved in the guidelines how to continue culture in the process of residential construction. Based on participation of architects, villagers, craftsmen, managers, visitors and followers, this paper explains guidelines in different points and provides feedback. In order to ensure the applicability and usefulness of residential construction guidelines and reflect the importance of multilateral involvement in the dynamic research of guidelines, it is proposed in the paper how guidelines guide people other than architects to take part in the protection by illustration of multi-stakeholder model.
