Abstract：From the traditional “nostalgia” mental model, “nostalgia” operating mechanism, and the observation and analysis of traditional rural community, this article summarizes the working framework of “group shared frame loci”. At the same time, it focuses on the balance between the universal social structure and the subculture structure in the forty-year urbanization process of subculture rural regions and puts forward the practical tools of “scientific bricoleur”. On the basis of the working framework and practical tools, West-line Studio tries to establish a new working model of “nostalgia”: “communeby-regional-ties”, in order to find some directional breakthrough for the current architectural practice in subculture rural regions.
