Abstract：The issues of climate and health, such as heat island effect, haze and air pollution, have become one of the main threats to modern urban safety. Good urban wind environment can effectively promote urban ventilation, alleviate urban heat island effect and air pollution, improve the urban safety level of climate and health, and then improve the quality of urban environment. Based on analysis of the main problems of urban wind environment, this paper puts forward the multi-scale wind environment system of “city-block-building”. According to the different demands and design points of the multi-scale wind environment, it puts forward urban design strategies of wind environment optimization, so as to realize the orderly connection of the three scales, thus building a perfect urban wind environment system and improving the urban safety of climate and health.
