Six Scientific Architectural Reviews: Concurrent Discussion of the Excellent Architectural Review Textbooks Architectural Programming and Design and Post-occupancy Evaluation in China
Abstract：The concept of macroscopic (generalized) architectural design is a great creation, which raises people’s cognition of the whole nature and characteristics of the architectural design process to the height and depth of macroscopic heavyweight. For this reason, architectural programming/postoccupancy was established in contemporary China in the first decade of the 21st century, which was the biggest advance in the 70 years since the founding of the People’s Republic of China. For the first time, it can carry out scientific architectural criticism in the whole process of macroscopic architectural design scientifically, legally and justly. This is China’s design management to deepen the reform of the major event. It will show that scientific architectural criticism as the intrinsic and external driving force of architectural design has a great promoting role, and it will continue to promote the level of architectural design thinking spiraling upward and healthy development with bright prospects.
