Abstract：The relics is a combination of architectural heritage and ruins. War heritage buildings have the characteristics of both ruins and relics. As a functional building in the past war, it is part of the place where the war took place, and it is also a monument reflecting the war events. Based on the properties of modern military bunkers, this article looks at the bunkers of Xiamen area in the modern war heritage of China, based on military geography and historical environment analyzes its types and characteristics, and explores its historical function and contemporary protection and renewal strategies from the place and event.
