Abstract：There are a large number of gray infrastructures in the city, which have caused conflicts with high-quality urban public space. Based on the study of landscape urbanism, infrastructure landscaping, ecological urbanism, and resilient cities, and the analysis of typical cases, this paper establishes the theoretical framework and design strategy of the integration between small and mediumsized gray infrastructure and public space, where the design strategy includes spatial relationship, landscape image, and engineering technology. The design strategy is then applied and verified in Wuhan Zhonghua Road Urban Balcony Project. The result provides a reference for the design of integration between urban small and medium gray infrastructure and public space.
