Abstract：More than 70 years of modern industrial construction has accumulated a number of China’s industrial heritage with outstanding value. How to identify New China’s industrial heritage as a whole, clarify the process of New China’s industrialization, and explain the core values of New China’s industrial heritage are the key issues that this study attempts to address. This paper traces back to the three important historical stages of the People’s Republic of China’s industrialization process, reviews the representative construction achievements in different periods from a macro perspective, and preliminarily explores the core value of China’s industrial heritage through the discussion of representative industrial heritage, in order to further excavate and refine the spiritual core of China’s industrial heritage. It lays a foundation for establishing the identification system of China’s industrial civilization.
