The Practices of Systematic Integration in Prefabricated Buildings Based on Actual Construction: A Case Study on the Lightweight Prefabricated Housing Serial Products of Southeast University
Abstract:Based on the development clues of the manufacturing and construction industry, this paper explores the adoption results and potential value of systematic integration used in prefabricated buildings through the lens of product thinking and actual construction. A case study is conducted on the lightweight structure house series products developed by the Department of Building Science and Technology in the School of Architecture at Southeast University. It then presents and analyses how modular design, systematic integration design, high-speed construction, construction node, equipment system, and BIM+IoT-enabled construction optimization and management are adopted. It further discusses the adoption value and research significance of the product thinking and actual construction in terms of schematic design and technique application in prefabricated buildings. This study shows a reference and enlightenment for the research and practices of lightweight buildings towards new-type building industrialization in China.
