Abstract:It is a top priority to vigorously improve the quality of design, construction and information management technology of prefabricated buildings for the development of China's building industrialization in the future, and it is also a necessary way for energy saving, carbon emission reduction, and industrial upgrading in China. This paper reviews the development of architectural design methods, construction technologies, and related BIM software tools in domestic and foreign prefabricated buildings. With respect to the problems and technical application characteristics in the development of China's prefabricated buildings, it analyzes the current technological progress and constraints in its development. In this context, it investigates the development of design methods for the construction, performance and intelligence of prefabricated buildings.
