Research on Spatiotemporal Characteristics of Boundary Fusion Space between Primary School and Community Based on School Travel Behavior: A Case Study of Xi’an
Abstract:Elementary school and community space is closely related. There are a series of problems with the boundary fusion space between primary school and community, such as limited space, poor carrying capacity of school travel behavior, and low construction standards. It is therefore in urgent need of renewal and promotion. Based on school travel behavior, this paper studies the spatiotemporal characteristics of boundary fusion space between primary schools and communities. Through the method of environmental behavior and time geography research, and ArcGIS of quantitative analysis, the paper extracts the main factors influencing the elementary school and community fusion boundary space. With the analysis of spatiotemporal restriction, spatiotemporal gathering and spatiotemporal dispersion, the paper reveals the rules of spatiotemporal characteristics, which can enhance the efficiency of school travel and improve the quality of the boundary fusion space between primary school and community.
