Abstract:Currently, the symbolized spatial production of the Historic Urban Landscape ignores the consideration of humanistic experience, resulting in the proliferation of a large number of homogeneous urban spaces. Therefore, how to improve spatial perception and recreational experience quality based on user needs has become an important way to promote the sustainable development and personalized cultivation of the Historic Urban Landscape. In the context of big data, quantitative evaluation of spatial perception and recreational experience by using digital footprint can make up for the existing defects of the traditional analysis methods. Therefore, this paper intends to carry out a quantitative analysis on spatial perception and recreation experience of the Historic Urban Landscape at both macro and micro levels. The former mainly analyzes the spatial structure and node functions of urban recreation network by four quantitative indexes: network size and density, agglomeration, centrality and core-edge characteristics. The latter mainly interprets the perceptual mode of recreation experience by using the three-level qualitative index formed by the methods of open coding, axial coding and selective coding, so as to form the interpretation of specific spatial behavior and psychological response. Through the combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis, this paper aims to change the research focus from physical space to social entity.
