Abstract:The rapid development of computational design provides diversified methods and tools to improve the design effectiveness and scientific prediction of medical building. This article analyzes the frontier of computational design thinking for hospital buildings at three levels: computational thinking, algorithmic logic, platform and tools. Firstly, it discusses the shift of computational design thinking from the conceptual, processes and case perspectives; secondly, it summarizes five methodological logics and four spatial simulation scenarios for automated spatial layout by combining a large number of theoretical studies and corporate R&D cases; finally, it analyzes the research and development and application scenarios of the computational design tool platform based on the interdisciplinary cooperation perspective. It aims to provide theoretical and practical references for the future computational design of hospitals and the transformation of the design industry into digital intelligence.
