A Study on the Renewal Strategy of Path Space between School and Home after Class for Primary School Students: A Case Study of the Surrounding Area of Xi’an Bell Tower Primary School
Abstract:Daily activity environment plays an important role in children’s physical and mental health. With the continuing progress of stock updating, the old city environment is increasingly complex, and the after-school environment and space use of primary school students are particularly prominent in recent years. This study looks at primary school students of Xi’an Bell Tower primary school, records and samples the behavioral path and staying node, and constructs the social network relationship between the children and the residents, vendors, managers and other related groups in the area. It takes four sites with frequent activities of primary school students as research samples, and puts forward the spatial transformation opportunity, effect and update strategy. This paper tries to improve the
integration and renewal of old city space, while establishing a healthy path between school and home for primary school students at the same time, promotes the positive role of the humanistic care in the urban reconstruction, and provides a new perspective and a new method for the study of urban renewal under the background of transformation.
