Abstract：In a site with a strong industrial atmosphere and weak cultural context, the building intervenes the site in a manner of confrontation and prospect. Under the premise of satisfying the building function, the phenomenological concept of “the gathering of objects” is used to create a place spirit that is different from the surrounding environment. Through group organization with the windmill shape as the motif, a number of small blocks and courtyards are formed, and this kind of operation makes the form, space and experience unified. The introverted sloping roof and the facade of the building enhance the introversion of the space. The use of natural light enhances the quality of the space and expresses the diachronic nature of the space.
